Peak of the Hoher Kalmberg

In the Vordertal Ramsau, about 50 metres ahead of Cafe Reiter, coming from Bad Ischl, please turn right here.
After 300 metres you will reach the forest street. There is a parking lot at the gate.
The second place of departure is the parking lot next to the Pass Gschütt street, about 100 metres under the Passhöhe.
Both trails meet shortly before the Iglmoosalm. The nicer journey up to the Iglmoosalm starts from Ramsau.

The route is almost the identical one as the trail in summer. After you have reached the Iglmoosalm you hike along the forest street until you come to the Saugrube.
There is a parting of ways before you reach the Saugrube. From here the ski route turns right and runs along the winter path to the Goisererhütte.
Starting from the hut you go up in the direction of the cliff face to the western slope. In a couple of serpentines you will reach the peak in 45 minutes.
Ski-run down the route you came!
The Goisererhütte is open to the public every now and then at weekends during winter.
Please don´t forget your avalanche beacon!
