Snow statistics of Gosau

These numbers have been recorded in tables since January 1991.
They are based on statistically analysed weather data. The facts of the present year are still raw material. They have not been interpreted yet.
The data was presented to us by the state  of Upper Austria and the Department for Hydrography and environmental agency for water protection.
Mrs. Karoline Zeilner has been monitoring the weather data since 1945 at 7 am, 2 pm and 9 pm. Then they are measured and sent to the Department of Hydrography of Upper Austria.

The weather station is located in the Vordertal section of the valley,  765 metres above the sea level.

We thank the Department of Hydrography for presenting the daily snow amount height to us, since 1991. These facts have been statistically interpreted.

In the future you will be able to get the latest information on our monthly snow levels through our weather sites. These facts are raw material. Moreover their statistical interpretation will take place at the end of the year.
